Spirit Day Friday: The last Friday of every month is designated Annapolis Spirit Day. Friday 27th, is the first Spirit Day of the school year. On these days all students will be allowed to wear jeans (not too tight, not too baggy, and no holes!), spirit shirts and accessories (i.e. ACA hats, Warrior T-Shirts, P.E. Shirts, Warrior Athletics Jerseys), and tennis shoes instead of their normal school uniforms. If you do not have any “Spirit Gear,” students can wear jeans and tennis shoes with an Annapolis uniform polo. Order forms for Spirit Gear will be available soon as we are working on pricing.

Craft Supply Tent Sale Extravaganza: Tomorrow is a BIG day as we set up for our GIGANTIC, HUGE, ENORMOUS craft supply sale extravaganza. WE NEED MORE VOLUNTEERS to help with this event both tomorrow during the set up and Saturday, August 28th, from 6 am to 12 pm. If you can’t volunteer, at least come out and support the school while getting your holiday and seasonal decoration needs met. EVERYTHING MUST GO. All proceeds go to support the Warrior Fund, Annapolis’ tuition assistance program.

Extended Hot Lunch Order Form Due Date: Due to the difficulty many had with opening the Hot Lunch Order Form sent out earlier in the week, we are extending the Hot Lunch Order Form due date to Monday, August 30th. If you still do not have a lunch menu order form, please stop by the school office to get a hard copy. Students who do not have the order form submitted to the office by Monday morning drop off will not receive hot lunch for the month of September.

Grammar Parent Academy 101: Thursday, September 2 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm is Grammar Parent Academy 101. IF YOU ARE A PARENT OF A GRAMMAR STUDENT, YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS NIGHT. After two weeks back to school, this is your opportunity to sit in your student’s classroom and learn about what your child is learning directly from your child’s teacher and get an overview of the curriculum, classroom procedures, expectations and have all your questions answered. More details will follow later.

HEB Card Order Form: The HEB card fundraiser is one of the school’s most successful fundraisers and the one that is easiest to participate in. HEB cards can be purchased at the main school office at ANY TIME and ACA gets 4% per dollar purchased. The cards can then be used to purchase anything at HEB (gas, groceries, etc.). Now YOU HAVE THE OPTION OF ORDERING THEM IN ADVANCE. Simply fill out the HEB Order Form (click here) and mail or drop off at the Main School Office with a check and we will promptly prepare your order. We will also be selling HEB cards during select drop off and pick up times.
