P.O.E. Meetings
In an effort to raise awareness within the city about the mission and future of Annapolis, each and every month the Office of Advancement hosts “Point of Entry” (POE) meetings to introduce community members and prospective families to Annapolis and get valuable feedback from them about the Academy’s programs and services. Each POE event is one hour long and includes a short presentation by the headmaster on the past, present, and future of Annapolis followed by a student or parent testimonial and a classroom visit to show community members the work of the school firsthand. Individuals or organizations who attend the POE will not be asked to make any financial contributions or commitments but will be asked to provide advice and feedback to the school. The POE events are for anyone who might be interested in getting to know more about the school (i.e. prospective families, grandparents, funders, business leaders, friends of the school past and present, and current families desiring to learn more about where the Academy is headed in the future). The POE events are hosted in the library at the school every Tuesday night from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm and every Thursday morning from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. If you or someone you know cannot attend on these days or at these times, please contact Dale Berry by phone at (361) 739 - 7788 or by email dberry@aca-cc.org to schedule a more convenient time.
